The National Cadet Corps is a voluntary organization. The minimum age limit for school students to join the NCC as junior cadets is 13.

The NCC Parade is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The main aims of this organization are to develop in youth the qualities of character, courage, camaraderie, discipline, secular outlook, and spirit of adventure, sportsmanship, and selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens who can serve their country effectively and passionately. The NCC also aims to train and motivate youth, to facilitate leadership qualities in every sphere of life including the Armed Forces and to empower them to be ready to serve their nation.

An ATC camp is held every year for the second-year cadets. These candidates are trained in drill, shooting, physical fitness, map reading, first aid and gliding/flying. This camp training covers nearly all the basics of military training in the armed forces.

The Bharat Scouts & Guides is a voluntary educational movement for young people, open to all in accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by the Founder Lord Baden- Powell in 1907. The purpose of the Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national, and international communities.

Jamnabai Narsee School offers Scouts and Guides activities based on their interests. An adventure camp is conducted in an outdoor setting in contact with nature. Scouts and Guides participate in the March Past during the Annual Athletic Meet. On completion of ‘Pravesh’, they are conferred with a scarf and the Bharat Scout and Guide badge.

More than a physical workout, yoga is a full mind and body exercise. A complete yoga workout can help keep our back and joints healthy, improve our overall posture, stretch and strengthen muscles and improve our balance.

At Jamnabai Narsee School yoga turns physical exercises into tools to help students become more mindful and even learn to meditate. Breathing exercises not only help our students to stay focused while practicing yoga, they can also help reduce stress and relax the nervous system and calm the mind. It also improves lung capacity and immunity, mindfulness activities and games based on concentration, balance and relaxation.

In self-defense classes students learn how to protect themselves. They can also establish self-awareness and awareness of potentially dangerous situations, improve self-discipline, develop self-confidence, improve fitness, develop physical skills with hands on experience.Self-defense not only allows children to tangibly defend themselves against physical attacks, it also sparks various benefits to them in everyday life. Important values and principles can be learned, such as hard work, dedication, and perseverance, as well as the importance of maintaining personal relationships.

The techniques they learnt by the students are from Mixed Martial Arts where we emphasize the importance of effective striking, effective submission and control.

The training schedule in school is as follows : Std 5th to 9 in ICSE and Std 11th in ISC every Thursday.

Every year students demonstrate their skills by putting up a great show on Sports Day.
