From 1971 to 2011 ,and with 40 years of service to the community, we fondly remember our founder Trustees Shri Chatrabhujbhai Narsee, Shri Pratapbhai Narsee and Shri Dharamshibhai Narsee, who set up the Trust in 1960, with  specific thrust in Education and the motto ‘Jnanat Sarvam Pradipyate – Illuminate All with Knowledge’, by setting up various Educational Institutions to name a few, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, Narsee Monjee Institution of Management Studies and Kamla Dharamshi Narsee School for the Hearing Impaired.  This will be remembered by the generations to come.

Jamnabai Narsee School is an institution where a child is learning to learn.  It is the celebration of the life of a child, for every activity, every class and every event revolves around the child.  We have 4700 students, starting from Nursery right up to the 12th Grade, having affiliations with ICSE / ISC / IGCSE / IBDP and NIOS.

In order to attain ‘Excellence in Education’ at our School, it has been our constant effort to focus on four major aspects which I would like to reiterate: Academics, Sports, Co-curricular Activities and inculcating values.

Today, while completing 40 years of excellence, we are a brand new school with state of the art infrastructure spread out over 200,000 square feet due to the ongoing up gradation year on year in terms of technology and infrastructure.  The facilities include an in-house Amphitheatre, Auditorium, Libraries, Laboratory Rooms, IT Training Rooms, Wi-Fi equipped Classrooms, Activity Room, Resource Centre, Career Centre, Cultural Department and more.

I take this opportunity to thank our Parent Teacher Association and Jamnabai Narsee Alumni Association for always being active and taking up various projects, arranging events and doing community service all through the year.

Our profound appreciation goes to the Principal and her Team, Teaching and Non-teaching Staff, Support and Security staff.

We, at Jamnabai Narsee School, have consciously and consistently integrated the building of good character by enhancing the physical, emotional, moral, intellectual and spiritual domains of the child, from toddler to youth.  As this institution steps into its fifth decade, we move forward with the assurance to provide a dynamic, broad based curriculum in an intellectually stimulating environment, aimed at meeting the changing needs of tomorrow’s world.
