ISC (Indian School Certificate)

The Indian School Certificate Examination has been designed as an examination through the medium of English, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, after a two-year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) or its equivalent.

Choice of Subjects:
  1. English and Environmental Education are compulsory for all.
  2. It is necessary to choose any 4 more elective subjects.
ARTS:
  1. English
  2. Environmental Education
  3. Psychology
  4. Economics
  5. Literature in English/Math’s/Art (any one)
  6. Fashion Designing/Gujarati/Hindi (any one)
COMMERCE:
  1. English
  2. Environmental Education
  3. Commerce
  4. Accounts
  5. Economics
  6. Math’s/Art/ Gujarati/Hindi (any one)
SCIENCE:
  1. English
  2. Environmental Education
  3. Physics
  4. Chemistry
  5. Mathematics
  6. Biology/ Geometrical And Mechanical Drawing (any one)

Examinations:
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, conducts the ISC Examinations in the month of March each year.

Internal Assessment:
Practical Work, Projects, Field Trips and Assignments will be evaluated as part of internal assessment.

Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) & Community Service:
Students will be internally evaluated in SUPW and Community Service, both of which are compulsory.
