ICSE – Indian Certificate of Secondary Education
Jamnabai Narsee School is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination since the year 1971.
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, through the medium of English.
The ICSE examination presupposes a school course of ten years duration (Classes I – X).
Students are internally evaluated and complete the following courses:
- A third language from Class IV to Class VII
- Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service
- Art
- Physical Education
- Education in moral and spiritual values
